About Avon/Denise and Krupa Kosmetics


My name is Denise Krupa and I am the owner of Krupa Kosmetics, selling Avon products online and recruiting new representatives to join my team. I set up this website to further market my business,  share product information with consumers and provide training/support to new representatives.
I have been married to Ed for 32 years and we have two wonderful sons Eddie and Andrew. Ed and I live in NY on a little 9.5 acre "farmette" where we grow veges and herbs, and cut about 4 acres of grass. We also have chickens and our old Labrador, Max. We stay pretty busy!
In addition to managing my own Avon business, I work full time as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in a skilled nursing/rehab facility. While I love what I do, it is a very stressful job. That's why I love selling AVON.  It's fun! 
My goal is to build my Avon business and team, making this my full time job.  
My Avon Story
I sold Avon years ago when my sons were very young, to make some extra money as a stay at home mom. After moving from the area, I gave it up and worked outside the home when the boys started school.  I never stopped using Avon products.  Some years later, I revisited the Avon opportunity.  With all that Avon has to offer representatives now, it was an easy decision to start my own business again. I feel very lucky to have a second chance at owning my own business and looking forward to great success!

All new Avon Representatives want to be successful, right? Sometimes getting started can be overwhelming. We all want to see lots of orders and of course profit from our first order.  Here are a few tips to help you get your new business up and running in just a few short steps.  

1. Set up your eStore
Visit SkincaremarketingOnline.com for step by step instructions on setting up your own eStore. Click the Sell Avon tab ->Tips for New Representatives for details on setting up your eStore.
2. Set up your Automatic emails 
This is found in your Web Office under personal website --> personalization tool--> customer preference. This is a great way to make sure your customers stay up to date with current campaign brochures and sales promotions. 
3. Update your contacts
Make sure you have current information to ensure your emails are getting to your customers. 
4. Send an "Open for Business" email.
As soon as your eStore is set up, go to the eMail Center found in your web office. There are a couple emails to choose from to let your family and friends know you are open for business. Be sure to add a personal note so they know it's from you. 
5. Sharing on Social Media
Set up a separate Facebook page for your Avon business. That way you can share information with customers that are interested and not bombard your personal newsfeed with Avon ads. Those that are not interested on your personal page might get annoyed. Having your business page separate, allows you to share what you want, when you want. Send an invite to everyone on your personal friend list and only those that are interested will follow your business page. I like to give the option. Follow my Facebook page for ideas.
6. Blog
Starting a blog is a great way to provide information and services that your customers may be interested in. If you are new to blogging, don't worry. It's easy. 1.     How much does it cost to get started selling Avon?
        This is the beauty of starting your own business with Avon. The start up fee is only $15. 
2.    What happens after I sign up?
         You’ll be directed to the New Representative Center – your go-to resource for immediate info and support. Your welcome kit will be mailed to you. You’ll also be contacted by an Avon Leader to welcome you, answer every question, and guide you as you start up your business.
3.     What's in the starter kit?

4.     Do I have to buy a lot of inventory?
         No. You place orders every two weeks based on your customer orders. You only have to keep inventory if that is your choice. Sometimes when there is a good sale on my big sellers, I will stock up. Again, your choice.
5.     Are Avon products hard to sell?
         Avon has been in business for 130 years and is a well known brand of beauty products. It is not hard to sell products with that kind of reputation. 
6.     How much can I make selling Avon?
         Your earnings match your efforts, and your passion. You have the opportunity to grow your earnings as you grow your sales. Build on your success by inviting people into the Avon business and earn on recruiting efforts and team sales.  Your success is unlimited!
         The sky is the limit. Avon puts no restrictions to the amount of money you can make. Here's the current earnings chart to give an idea of your earnings based on your order size:

7.     How do I place orders and get paid?        
         When selling face-to-face, you can collect payment with your Customer's order or collect upon delivery, then place the order via your New Representative portal online. Products will be sent directly to you to then deliver to your Customers. ( you are given a line of credit for your first order and payment for that order are due the NEXT order, giving you time to collect and pay for products). You keep what's left as your paycheck.  For your Customers ordering online, through direct delivery, you’ll receive payment and earnings through direct deposit – that’s it!
8.     How can I be successful?
         Building relationships is at the heart of our business. Whether it be face-to-face, or online, selling Avon gives you the opportunity to build on the relationships you already have – and help you create new ones. Add to that a love of beauty, a passion for success, and all the amazing support you receive when you become a Representative, and you’re on your way to unlimited rewards and              success.
9.     Can I be successful selling online only?
         Yes! Avon is fully integrated in social media so there are tons of opportunities to promote your business through Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and more. Plus, Avon has its own mobile APP so you can connect with and grow your client base from your smart phone to make money any time, anywhere! I was selling Avon while on a cruise thanks to my eStore that is open 24/7!

Selling Avon

Sell Avon and have fun!


What do I love about selling Avon? The possibilities are endless. 

I was recently asked to represent my Avon business at a "Spa Day" event which will be held at a local assisted living center.  My wheels started turning. How can I best represent myself as a local Avon representative and showcase some of my favorite "spa" items. 

I decided to put together some gift baskets with some of my favorite bundles, SSS, Planet Spa, Bubble Bath, and Foot Works. So here's some examples of baskets I've put together.


I used some inexpensive baskets and containers from the Dollar Store, made my own fill by shredding old wrapping paper and tissue paper, and finished them off with a clear bag and decorative bows. My objective was to keep my costs low so that customers are only paying for the products. They came out beautiful and affordable.

I'm going to do a raffle and put together a larger basket with some items I had on hand. Sorry it's not done yet so no picture available.  I made up some raffle tickets, in hot pink of course, as a free entry to win, while gathering information for possible new customers.  I will let people know at the event that they will receive emails from me about Avon products and sales. 

I also put together small bundles of a shower gel and lotion in a variety of scents, tied together with a ribbon and packed into a large basket. Cute and affordable, paired with a gift basket and customers are happy with their spa purchase! 

And we can't forget a wonderful fragrance to end our spa event. Of course it's So Very Sofia! This is really a nice fragrance and the beautiful Sofia markets herself. This is how I will display my So Very Sofia at the event, mentioning to customers that they also get a FREE shower gel and body lotion with every fragrance purchase.
 
These are some ideas you are welcome to use at your own events. The most important thing is to be creative and show your own true colors. Your customers will love getting to know you!

This is what I love about selling Avon. Representatives have access to their own online store that is available to customers 24/7.  Once your customers know about your eStore, they can shop sales and stock up, visit the skin care advisor anytime to get advise on skin care, sign up to be a representative and benefit from having your own business, and stay up to date with current products and fashions. 

And the best part of selling Avon for me...I can stay in touch with my customers anytime anywhere! 

Why is that so exciting??? Well for me, I think it's really cool to be able to continue working my business even while I'm at my full time job or on vacation. Let me give you an example. Bottom line is, selling Avon is fun and exciting. It empowers me to have my own business while working full time in Physical Therapy and taking a few vacations while managing my Avon business online.
