Sell Avon-Getting Started

Sell Avon and start your own success story!

You have made the decision to start your own business. That was step one and maybe the hardest.  It gets easy from here! The purpose of today's blog is to help you set up your account with Avon and open your eStore for business. It sounds like a lot but trust me, it is only a few steps and I would like to walk you through it. Let's get started!

Once you have completed your contract and paid the $15 start up fee, Avon will send you a welcome email with all the information you need to begin your registration.
Go to youravon.com. Right underneath the log in area, you will see "Welcome New Representative" and a link "Set up your account now" and get your Avon business started.
Fill in the information required that you should find on your welcome email including district number and account number.
Continue to follow the directions to complete your account set up. Once you answer all the questions you will get to a "Congratulations!" page and be redirected back to the log in page. Enter your account and password.

Now you are ready to set up your eStore! This is where it got exciting for me. I was in control of my own business! So you have already signed in with your account number and password and you will see several tabs across the top of the screen. Click on Web Office.

If you are familiar with navigating around websites, this area is worth spending some time because it will be the heart of your business including customer invoicing, emails, social media, account information and ordering. But let's concentrate on your eStore.

Click on the pink box in the web office that says Online Quick Set Up. This will take you step by step through to get your store up and running.  Edit your store to suit your style and your marketing goals. Click the tab "edit eStore" and you will see the standard widgets with a small pink box and pencil, in the upper right hand corner. Click the box and edit that widget however you like. There is also directions on how to enter your email addresses.

Once your eStore is up and running, go to the email center, also located in the Web Office, and send out an email to family and friends, letting them know your store is open for business. The emails are already designed, so you can pick the one you want to send.  Here's my eStore (picture taken several campaigns ago) to get an idea of how I customize and update it each campaign.
That's all there is to setting up your eStore! You are now open for business 24/7.

Sell Avon- Join Team Krupa Kosmetics- Part 3

Sell Avon-Join Team Krupa Kosmetics Part 3

Empowering Digitally

Connectivity and community have always been critical to Avon's direct-selling model. When the company was founded 130 years
ago, it pioneered relationship marketing, with Representatives personally marketing products to their customers-- the original
social network.

Today the one-on-one relationship, defined by high quality,
personalized service, is still at the core of our direct-selling
business. If you are a social person and love people,
direct selling with Avon is the job for you.

Avon in the Digital Age

Avon has combined the face-to-face contact approach with
virtual interaction and is constantly integrating new
technologies in the way people connect, communicate,
share and shop. Our digital strategy is designed to enhance
the social selling experience for Representatives and the
shopping experience for consumers. By innovating the
direct-selling sales channel, we continue to help our
Representatives succeed and thrive through “social selling,”
a complement to traditional face-to-face selling.

We offer many digital tools—on the Internet, social media and
mobile technology—that enhance Representatives’ reach,
productivity, and earnings. Representatives businesses can
integrate seamlessly with the way people today connect, share
and shop, and create communities, through our new multi-
channel selling tools such as:
Personalized eStores that give Representatives the option to sell
through their own online store located on Avon’s redesigned
ecommerce website, which launched in October 2014. The new
platform includes such customizable features as blogs, special
offers, select product highlights, and videos.
Email marketing programs and a social media suite featuring
valuable beauty content that Representatives can easily share
with their customers.

Customized social media environments for Representatives to
reach customers and other Representatives.
Skin Care Advisor Tool on the United States eCommerce site,
that advises on products appropriate for customers before
purchasing.

Online FREE education through Avon University found on
youravon.com
This week we have discussed the opportunities you will have
owning your Avon business and how to get started with direct
selling or online selling. As we conclude this weeks series on
the Avon opportunity, I hope I have provided you enough
information for you to make the decision to join Avon and
Team Krupa Kosmetics.

Sell Avon Online

Selling Avon OnLine using Social Media

There are many social media avenues to take these days, and selling Avon using these platforms is a great way to find new customers and share in your excitement about selling Avon. Whether you are tech savvy or not, social media is part of our everyday lives. The sooner we embrace the idea, the sooner we can get our marketing strategies in place and start to get results.  I have been using Facebook and Twitter to market my Avon business, and of course Blogger, and I would like to share some tips that may be helpful to other representatives.

Let's start with Facebook. The first step is to set up a separate Facebook page for your business. This is quite easy and it allows you to post whenever you want without annoying anyone on your personal page. Update your cover photo with a nice picture from Avon (I have the Matte Lipsticks) and of course a picture of you. Follow Me on Facebook to see what I'm doing. Those that are interested in Avon will "like" your page and stay up to date on what you are posting about new products, beauty tips, specials or whatever information you would like your customers to have. Each campaign, I post the new brochure cover with the link to my eStore. (Let me know if you need help setting up your eStore). I also post current code offers that usually come monthly, right from Avon. I have found that posting all the offers at once is a little overwhelming, so I have started posting separate offers based on the dates due. Make sure you state when the offer expires to cover yourself, and I usually try to post a picture of the item offered. Visit your WebOffice at Avon.com to find posts that you can share directly to Facebook. It will prompt you where to share, and I choose "share to a page you manage" option. That will go directly to my business page.
One more thing about marketing your business on Facebook, and this is totally optional. You have the choice of "boosting" your posts. What this means is paying for your posts to be reached by more people outside your family and friends. I only do this on my business page and I have been successful with reaching new people interested in my page. You set your own budget, duration of the boost, and your target audience. You can also stop the boost at any time. Again this is optional and you may have enough Facebook followers that you don't have to spend any extra money. As an example, I boosted the C9 brochure cover,  and got 100 new followers, that to me are potential customers! I paid $35 for one week which was well within my marketing budget.
Let's move on to Twitter. I usually use Twitter to share posts directly from Avon. You can add some text that makes it a little more personal. The more followers you have, the more potential customers. I usually share my eStore at least once per week, and current product information is always what seems to interest people. So keep it short and sweet, and most of all interesting and relevant to your business.
As you probably have gathered, I love to share ideas and information through my Blogs. If you haven't done so yet, set up a Blog and post often. It can be on your Avon website or any other Blog site. The Avon Blog is somewhat limited because you can't add pictures unless you know HTML coding, and the text is sometimes crunched together vs. neat spacing and indenting, again unless you know HTML coding. I am going to put together an informative blog about this at a later date. Subscribe to my Blog and watch for it. Whatever you choose, have fun with it! Your customers will appreciate it too!

I am adding a link to my eStore HERE for you to see what my store looks like and the Avon Blog. Use the Avon Media Center to share posts often.

Summary of Social Media Tips:
1. Set up a Facebook page for your Avon business
2. Post often, "Short and Sweet", eye-catching pictures
3. Share posts from Avon Media Center, including your eStore
4. Boost your posts, only if it's in your budget.
5. Use Twitter to share posts relevant to your Avon business
6. Share your eStore on Twitter
7. Set up a Blog
