Avon Foundation for Women

The Avon Foundation for Women has been improving and saving women's lives since 1955, and we are proud to be the largest corporate philanthropy dedicated to women's cause globally. Avon philanthropy has raised and donated more than $1 billion worldwide, and focuses it's support on efforts to end domestic violence and accelerate breast cancer research and ensure access to breast health care. Avon also supports efforts to help victims of global disaster.

I am proud to work for a company that cares about women and women's issues. Here's a recent letter all representatives received from Avon CEO Sheri McCoy:

As the company for women, Avon is committed to helping to improve the lives of women around the world. Our dream to improve women's lives began in 1955 with a single scholarship of $400 in the United States. Fast-forward 60 years and today the Avon Foundation for Women has grown into the largest corporate-affiliated foundation focused on issues that matter most to women. Avon is now the leading corporate supporter of the breast cancer cause globally.
The funds raised by the more than 6 million Avon Representatives globally play a critical role in Avon’s philanthropy. As a Representative, you have spread the word to your customers, who have purchased hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Pink Ribbon and Empowerment products. Your efforts enable Avon to fund programs that advance breast cancer research and equal access to quality care for women and men, regardless of their ability to pay. You have also helped Avon fund organizations working to support domestic violence survivors and to break the cycle of abuse. Thanks to all of you, Avon’s global philanthropic programs for breast cancer and domestic violence have donated $1 billion in over 50 countries. Your outstanding dedication to these very important causes makes me proud to be a part of the Avon family.
I thank you for your continued commitment to creating a better world for our children and grandchildren, where breast cancer and violence against women may no longer exist.
